Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Your question is about how to link a help menu item to a forum topic. To do this you create a menu item (or you edit an existing menu item) using the Joomla Menu Manager and you link the target to a forum topic. See also the FAQs page (on the menu above this forum) for How do I edit, hide, disable or translate menu items in Kunena (e.g. rules, help, search)?

Oh sorry for confusion. I was asking to link a forum threat to the Kunena's menu (please see the arrow) - not adding a Joomla menu item. The option is to link it to an article ID. So I want to know if I can change it to link that Help tab to a forum thread instead.

I was not confused by your question. The answer is the answer that I have already given. This answer has been given several hundred times before in this place; it is a frequently-asked question. See the FAQs menu item at the top of this page in relation to How do I edit, hide, disable or translate menu items in Kunena (e.g. rules, help, search)?

Changing the link of the menu item that you refer to in your picture is done with the Joomla Menu Manager.
