Ok ..maybe I am doing something silly wrong here but I had a new member join yesterday and though on the frontend of Kunena it shows her in the bottom but in the backend - she is not there so I hit synchronize users and it claims it did? It also shows 84 users when on the front end it shows 94 - I need to make that new one a moderator but can't because she is not in the backend of Kunena ??? any suggestions

I am running joomla 1.6.4 and jomsocial 2.3 or 2.5 and I am running kunena 1.7 upgraded easily but confused why I am missing members in the backend?

Thank you kindly ....

Thanks for your question, Ang.

One minor comment regarding J! 1.6.4. This was a fairly buggy version of Joomla and most people would not touch it with a 50-foot bargepole. Your best bet is to upgrade your website to J! 1.7.2 at the earliest opportunity.

That being said, when you go into the Synchronize Users panel, you will see 4 checkboxes. I suggest that you click all four of those checkboxes before you press the "Sync" button. I hope this helps. :)

Use the Kunena User Manager to assign moderators. This is covered in the topic How to assign a moderator in K 1.6? (the principle is the same for K 1.7 although some of the terms used in that topic may have changed). I hope that helps.

This question has been asked many times. The short answer is no. See [Merged Topic] Automatically subscribe all members to be notified of any new messages

Further questions, that do not relate to this topic (i.e. the Synchronize Users feature), should be asked as separate topics.
