So who becomes the author of the topics when that user is deleted?

No-one. The messages are orphaned. Why not test the idea on your own test site and let us know what happens?soundlover wrote: So who becomes the author of the topics when that user is deleted?
The table xxx_kunena_users has a column posts. I don't know what process(es) manages/computes this value. Perhaps someone can explain to all of us how to "reset" (or properly recalculate) this value. I don't pay much attention to statistics, sorry.

Did you try the user synchronization feature form the administration backend? It should work...just tick all the options (one of them should be relevant)soundlover wrote: The number of posts(topics) a user has under his avatar. Like mine here is 29 and yours a bit bigger lol. I made many test posts when I was testing the bbcode. I deleted those posts permanently but the number remains of the actual posts plus the deleted ones.
