Is it possible to reset a user's posts?
If a user is deleted, will his posts be deleted too?

If you delete users their messages are not deleted. What, specifically, do you mean by "reset a user's posts"? I am unfamiliar with that terminology.

The number of posts(topics) a user has under his avatar. Like mine here is 29 and yours a bit bigger lol. I made many test posts when I was testing the bbcode. I deleted those posts permanently but the number remains of the actual posts plus the deleted ones.

So who becomes the author of the topics when that user is deleted?

No-one. The messages are orphaned. Why not test the idea on your own test site and let us know what happens?

The table xxx_kunena_users has a column posts. I don't know what process(es) manages/computes this value. Perhaps someone can explain to all of us how to "reset" (or properly recalculate) this value. I don't pay much attention to statistics, sorry.

Did you try the user synchronization feature form the administration backend? It should work...just tick all the options (one of them should be relevant)

I will do that, curious to see the orphaned posts.

Yes the user synchronization worked, showing correct posts now. Thank you.
