Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.
The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.
Question 1.6.5. Issues i have observed..

BB-Code & editing
When editing post which have BB code attched, the BBcode gets translated to HTML tags and stays that way, but upon finishing editing the code gets not translated back to BB code, thus you see raw HTML code within posts.
You can test this here without registering (create a post with BB code save, then edit and save).

Style's
Font Issue
With the same installation, post headline font's are hardly readable, maybe this is caused by RocketTheme's Thirdparty extensions (in this case Theme: Tachyon).
Button visibility
The edit button has a small alignment issue (to much of padding-bottom). The quote button is partially not visible.
Profile editing
When i upgrade a fresh install of 1.6.4 to 1.6.5, the user profile is not editable, even though the integration is set to auto. It appears to me that only sites with JomSocial integration, which redirects to JomSocial profile works as of now.
You are able to test this here biochar.be
All problems are no "game breaker" for me, thus i judge priority medium to low.
Thanks for providing Kunena to the Joomla community and everybodywho makes this possible.

This is caused by the Rockettheme template. See msg #1 of If you are having problems with K 1.6, please read this firstDiploDicto wrote: Button visibility

Still the profile editing issue when you not have JomSocial installed is of interest :9

We did not mention JomSocial. We are talking about the Kunena user profile and what's preventing you from editing it. Your question is a common question - it's a Rockettheme issue - and it's answered n Why can't I edit my Kunena user profiles (including setting forum preferences, avatar image, etc.)?DiploDicto wrote: The profile editing issue when you not have JomSocial installed is of interest :9
