Question Only guests can view poll results

I have an issue that's had me scratching my head, making me feel as though I'm missing something obvious but I'd love to hear anyone's thoughts on it.

When a thread contains a poll, guests see a list of the poll results when they view the thread. However, logged-in members see only the poll options.

J 1.5.23, K 1.6.4.

Example url: idlefoundation.net/forum/all-about-the-i...4-the-idle-acid-test

If you view the above url and then log in (you can use the login details test/test) the results will disappear.

This is standard operating procedure. If you login and you haven't voted then you see the poll options and you have the opportunity to vote (which I used on that poll of yours, by the way). If you login and you have voted then you cannot vote again and therefore you will only see the poll results. Unless you allow otherwise, visitors cannot vote so they can only (at best) see the poll results.

Hi, this is normal.
You have disabled guest votes. So guests can't vote and see only the result. Member can vote.

Thanks both. That makes complete sense; I got confused because I thought I had voted in the poll, but I obviously hadn't done so. Duh!
