Question Forum Login redirecting to 404 and Profiles not working...

I have created a Gaming website and am obviously having troubles since I am here.

I cannot log in via the Login panel on the Forum page though it strangely works from any of my other module based login forms. Instead, I get redirected to a 404 page.

Also, there is an issue with the Profiles. The tabs show, but nothing else. I have tried clicking 'Edit' and nothing happens.

I am thinking there is a conflict between Kunena and my template from Rocket Theme or one of my many plugins. I have tried turning plugins off and troubleshooting this way, but have had no luck.

I aslo had tried installing an older version of JomSocial (1.2.192) and Kunena didn't work at all. Instead, I only got a 505 error whenever I opened the Forum page. I have since scrapped that idea and removed JomSocial in favor of Kunena.

I really would prefer the seamless integration of Kunena over Simple Machines or phpBB. Please help me resolve these issues. I like the way Kunena 'should' work. Hope we can make this happen over the next day or so. Maybe even get JomSocial to agree with Kunena.

I have created a 'Guest' login for anyone to test until this is resolved. If you feel confident and up for the challenge, and need to be given Admin status... Let me know.

Evidently you have a couple of problems.

Let's tackle the easier ones first: profiles not working (and a few other things that you did not mention). The RokCandy plugin is responsible for some of these problems; the Build Title Spans option in Rockettheme template is responsible for some others. These issues are addressed (in general terms) in msg #1 of If you are having problems with K 1.6, please read this first

The second matter, about the login redirection not working, is something else. There's one sure-fire way to identify if this is a problem with the Kunena Login module or something else: uninistall the Kunena Login module and see what happens next.

So, let's deal with the Javascript library conflict caused by various Rockettheme tools that you've installed and then we'll address the login matter after that.

I took a look and am trying to figure things out. I am not a pro coder. Know just basics and WYSIWYG.

I guess I'll have to pay someone or just give up. Not sure what to do.

• Disable/uninistall RokCandy plugin
• Uninistall Kunena Login (I'm not saying there's something wrong; I'm just saying let's eliminate it as a possible problem)
• Set Build Title Spans = Off in Rockethtteme template options
