Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

I updated my site to Joomla 1.7 without checking that Kuenna was compatible, my bad, i didn't check as the joomla developers were stating that it was only a minor upgrade and most components should work fine.

Unfortunately it doesn't tried to do a restore from my site back up and it is corrupt so I am screwed!

I know the Kuenna developers are stating that it should only be a few days but past experience is that they always overshoot the dates they suggest for a likely release significantly so if I can get a hold of a beta or even alpha that will run with Joomla 1.7 i will definately install it.

Support from Joomla for J1.6 ends in less than a month so we need a compatible version of Kuenna ASAP.

You can join the testers group to get a dev version to test it.
I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

People may apply to join the testers group by going here: www.kunena.org/people/groups/viewgroup/1...icial+Kunena+Testers

People should only apply to join the testers group if
  1. they are genuinely committed to helping the project by providing feedback; and
  2. they are experienced users of Joomla and Kunena.
If you don't meet these requirements your application will be refused.

Membership of all "official" Kunena groups is reviewed every month. People who have not contributed to the group for a period of time may have their membership cancelled.
