Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.
The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.
Question Kunena installed properly but will not show on site
I have installed Kunena onto my Joomla 1.6 site. The template is attractive sky. The only extensions I have added post install are Akeeba backup, ARI menu extension, and Art of Editor. Kunena appears to have installed correctly and everything looks ok from the backend of the site, but on the front end Kunena Forum is nowhere to be seen. I have gone into modules and unselected ARI menu extension from all the Kunena pages. I am not sure what else to do....any thoughts/advice?
Is it the template or one of the extensions?
Thanks,
Heather

Although this seems like a fairly common question to me (and I think you will find your answer if you look at the FAQs tab at the top of this page) you have posted your question in the K 1.6 Support category which indicates that you have already tried the usual lines of self-help available here (including browsing the sticky topics in the K 1.6 Common Questions category, too).
Please read the posting guidelines printed at the top of this page which are there to help you to help us to help you better. Can you please post your K 1.6 configuration report so that we may have a better understanding of your environment. Thank you.

I apologize for leaving k1.6 report out. I did check the forum for answers and none of them seemed to work out for me

I have, in the past half-hour, replied to similar questions on this issue. By default, in K 1.6.4 under J! 1.6.3, Kunena is not in all cases able properly fix the "missing link in the solution" menu item but; the complications are caused by Joomla 1.6. Typically, though, the K 1.6.4 installation tries to create a menu item (but leaves it unpublished).
Menu item issues are, for me, really difficult ones to explain - because Joomla menus are unnecessarily complicated to begin with. So I'll simply lay out the general facts for your information in the hope that some of it will help. See I can see your forum, by the way, so that's good news. The only thing you have to do now it to create a menu item to point to it. I hope I've helped.
