Hi,

I've been trying to get to the bottom of an ongoing problem with my forum. The problem being that it looses it's links to the categories and posts every once in a while. Through arbitrary trial and error I seem to get it back up and working somehow, BUT NOT THIS TIME!!!

The site is www.swedgeville.org .It's running Joomla 1.5.22 and Kunena 1.6.3

I don't know whether it has any baring on the issue, but I never did get my head around kunenamenu.

I suspect it's an easy one to sort, but not for me this occasion and our forums are down as a consequence. So if an admin here would like back-end access to take a look around then please just shout.

Anyway, here's the report. People are chomping at the bit so any help is very much appreciated. Many thanks!

You have a problem with the way you have set up your Joomla menu; I can see it in your K 1.6 configuration report. I recommend that you trash and burn all your existing forum menu items, links, module as use the Create Menu facility to establish a proper basis from which you can go forward.

The moment I tried to recreate the main menu the following came up :

"Warning: require_once(/home/swedgevi/public_html/modules/mod_mainmenu/helper.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/swedgevi/public_html/modules/mod_mainmenu/mod_mainmenu.php on line 18

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/swedgevi/public_html/modules/mod_mainmenu/helper.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/swedgevi/public_html/modules/mod_mainmenu/mod_mainmenu.php on line 18"

Screwed up mainmenu module? Any clues on the next step?
