Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Im sure this would have been reported but cant find any threads on here after searching.

Users are complaining they are getting emails for subscriptions when they actually dont have any subscriptions.

I am running 1.6.1DEV (about to upgrade to 1.6.1 shortly)

anyone know if this has been reported and if its fixed in 1.6.1?

still wish that i can write my forum signature through a jomsocial plugin and do it from my jomsocial profile :(

thanks for the helpful answer! I am asking if this is fixed in 1.6.1! Is 1.6.1 STABLE supported?

As i know this is happening on a few sites i am a member of that I know are running K1.6 but not sure if they are running 1.6.1 so am asking if this is fixed in that.

I don't know the exact answer as to (a) the cause of the issue or (b) whether the reported cause resulted in a change to K 1.6.1 or not. I am unaware that any of the testing team discovered this problem or not. However, you can find out if there were specific changes made to K 1.6.1 in this area by looking at the SVN tracker.

The version of K 1.6.1 that is available from the download page is a supported version.
