Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Question sub-category Forum Header Doesn't show name

I'm using Joomla v1.5 with Kunena forums v1.6.1
Fresh install of both today.

I created a category within the default main forum. Call it 'My Forum'.
I then created a category called 'General Discussions' with 'My Forum' as its parent.

If I click on 'My Forum' within the main forum I get a page that shows the correct Category name in the forum header, followed by the description. (GOOD!)
If I then click on 'General Discussions' I get a page that shows only the words 'Forum Header' and not the name of the category (see attachment). The description shows up OK though.



Is this a bug/known issue?

Hello,

no bug/issue here. "Forum Header" is a language string and you can change it to whatever you want in language file. Name of "General Discussions" sub-category show only on topics list header.

If I understand you correctly you're saying that the text used for 'Forum Header' is a global parameter, and if I change it in the language file it will affect all other sub-categories. Correct?

To me it would be more intuitive to take the text from the category config, which is what happens for categories that are directly below the top level....
