Kunena 7.0.6 & Kunena 6.4.12 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.6 [K 7.0.6] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the twelfth version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Admin Moderation email notifications failing, not receiving emails to admins & moderators was created by galgammer
This feature is simply not working or erratically working when sending emails to the admin (set as the moderator) when a user on the front-end adds a new topic or discussion.

We added Moderation to all topics with Backend->User Management->Moderation, highlighted topic names (global moderation NEVER WORKED), choose YES to "is moderator" and saved.

This is a huge inconvenience as we have to visit the forum throughout the day to see if anybody posted discussions for us.

Please advise.

Hi,

sorry for your issues. Unfortunately you are are telling us very little about your setup, what versions you are running and so on. Without that the community will have a hard time providing any meaningful assistance.

Are you on Kunena 1.5.13 or 1.6.1?

If you are using K 1.6 can you please post your K 1.6 configuration report ?

I am not sure what you mean by "global moderation never worked". Perhaps you are not assigning your forum moderators correctly? Here is a discussion topic that might help: How to assign a moderator to my Kunena forum
