Question User Avatars

I'd like for the user avatar of whomeve started the thread and have been working from flat.php. Can anyone help with a line of code the make the avatar always show? I'm also working with Community Builder, so the avatar comes from that profile, not the Kunena profile.

launchlady: By default, straight out-of-the box, user avatar images will display but they depend on where you are obtaining them from.

If you are using Community Builder for your avatar images, you should set the following configuration setting:

Forum Configuration » Integration » Integration Options » Avatars = Community Builder

You must have Community Builder 1.2.3 installed for this to work.

Kunena does not show the avatar image of the person who started a topic (in the Index, Recent Topic or My Topics views). You can only display the avatar image of the person who last posted a message to the topic:


Forum Configuration » Frontend » Look and Feel » Show avatar on Categories view, Recent Topics and My Topics? = Yes

(This reminds me - the word "Categories" in this setting should be changed to "Index". This is a small issue that needs to be changed.)
