Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

I have a minor problem when users create a new topic.
A lot of the new topics are posted in the category that shows first in the category drop down list.
I would like an empty spot or a text that says choose in the top of that list. If the users don't choose a category they will get an info about it when they submit.
Is it possible to fix that?
I have to moderate the forum a lot right now because of this matter.

Usaually the categorie you have opened and read at is choosen. Don't understand what you really mean.

Go to Index or Recent Topics.
Choose New Topic in the menu.
Wright a message and submit and if you don't choose any category all new messages will be sent to:
Officals Announsments and News about Kunena in this forum for example.
Many of my users do exactly that.

Now I got the problem.^^
Well there are two ways. First one is quite simple: just disable the "new Topic button in the Kunena menu. This forces the users to go to a category and your problem is solved.
Second way is much more complicated cause it would be to write a plugin checking the category thing.
