Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Hi,

Got introduced last week to Kunena and installed RC3.

What is not clear for me at the moment is the category subscription.
Does category subscription mean it sends a 'daily digest' OR an e-mail notification directly after every new topic/reply in the subscribed category?

Is there a way to configure this further or tweek this to make it into a weekly digest option?

Hi,

Right now (in Kunena 1.6) all subscripts are direct 1 for 1.

For the next release we are working on a new notification engine and processing that should support multiple formats and frequencies. The code has not been written and the specs are still fluid, but we have a clear need for this type of feature.
