This is a very good question. The technical answer to this question is that you can organise your discussion forum, in the way that you have described it, with Kunena. The technical details involved in doing this are: You can organise your discussion forums any way you like, more or less, but you will need to have a team of moderators always on hand to make sure that messages posted to your forum are properly categorised according to your specific structure. The more complicated that you make the structure, the more need you will have for this additional forum administration overhead.

It will be very interesting to see how your project develops. I hope that you will keep us informed of your progress.

Thanks sozzled.Much needed info.I am going through them.

Actually i have made it with phpbb3.But i am a joomla lover + it is very easy to integrate it with joomla.Even phpbb3 has a lot of features we made our mind to go with kunena.

It's nice to hear that kunena's ability of handling that much of forums !!!

1.What version should i use?Can i directly start it with 1.6 ?

2.Can't i give moderator of each forum to make sub-forums as they like,But without logging to the backend.(Bcz i am not an expertise in all areas)

3.Can u tell about the exact release date of stable kunena 1.6 and stable joomla 1.6 ? (So i can plan very well)
