RocketTheme has promised to make their templates compatible with J1.5.19+, so you should really go to their support forum and ask this from them. :)

I have asked them (I'm just not the only one with support questions :) )

This template should be compatible but apparently there are still some issues.

Problem solved by Kat (Rockettheme):

A solution for the "edit" button issue: in your dominion template parameters > advanced > set "build title spans" to off.

This is some javascript which allows you to have multi-colored titles, but it seems to cause a conflict with the kunena profile.

hi all,

sorry, it's been a while since i have checked your forum, but hopefully i will find some more time to be around more often and help out with issues regarding kunena and rockettheme templates.

just passing by to let you know this issue mentioned here is now resolved, as a reference here is the link to the topic in our forum: (i moved this thread to the public area so you can access it, hoping it will be helpful.)
www.rockettheme.com/forum/index.php?f=92..._v=viewtopic#p533174

we have a javascript driven feature called "build titles spans" which allows for multicolored titles in many of our templates, but this seems to be conflicting with the profile edit function in kunena.

in our gantry driven templates (all templates released starting dec2009) this feature can be disabled in the joomla admin under > extensions > template manager > rt_dominion_j15 (or whichever template) > advanced > build titles spans = OFF

kind regards,

kat :)

If you have a problem with a Gavick template then the best course of action will be to talk to Gavick . I can only offer this advice, which I've mentioned earlier:

I'm only making a guess here. Although K 1.6 is very different to K 1.5 and (as I understand things) the Javascript-written client-side script that handles BBcode has been radically changed from K 1.5, it's still possible for another client-side script to be running on your PC that interferes with the BBcode behaviour. What I'm trying to say is that, we should have eliminated most of these "my BBCode and smileys aren't working" problems with K 1.6, but we may not have eliminated them all.

In the past, the standard approach to these issues is to look for conflicting Joomla extensions (components, modules, plugins, templates, languages). I would suggest you do the same.

If you search anywhere in these forums for "BBcode not working" or "boardcode not working" or "conflicting plugins" you will find hundreds of examples that may possibly be of help to you.

Most importantly and before I forget: if you find the answer would you please share it with us? Thanks.

Dominion is definatly Rockettheme, not Gavick.

In the backend go to Dominion template and switch off "build titles spans". Then try again.

I updated kunena 1.5.12 to Kunena 1.6RC1.

All works good at the moment exept the Board code.. i add an image:

I cant see the icons.

Another problem appear when i use the Joomla 1.5.20 mootools upgrade.
The site work slowly, ant the PC too! 40-50sec to open a page (using firefox) if i disable the plugin kunena and the site works well

I tested the upgrade in another website and it has worked well... these are the config. settings:
