Kunena 7.0.4 Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

G'day, WorldRacer, and welcome to Kunena.
This discussion topic started 8½ months ago and it began in the "Installation and Migration" category (which seems illogical to me because it was talking about something (J! 1.6) which did not even exist even then!) Now that J! 1.6 is in beta and work has almost finished in building K 1.6 in readiness for J! 1.6, I think it's probably better to move the discussion into this "Common Questions about K 1.6" category.
The answer to the question "Is compatible is Kunena with J! 1.6?" is that Kunena (K 1.6)) will be compatible with J! 1.6 when Joomla is "compatible" with itself. I know, that sounds a bit illogical. What I'm trying to say is that Joomla 1.6 has a few problems with it.
When the Joomla problems have been sorted out, K 1.6 will work with J! 1.6.
I don't know about how the compatibility of K 1.5 with J! 1.6 but I would imagine that it should work OK.
