Hi all,

I have another part of my website that sets joomla login changes and I just want the users to use the forum but not edit or view their profiles.

Is there a way to switch this feature off?

I unpublished the profile menu item however the profile is still accessible from each post because it links to the member.

I can do overrides but I don't know which file to look in :)

Currently with each post the users name is hyper linked - is there a way to remove the hyperlink?

Thanks,

Mat

No there isn't that I'm aware of. You can stop guest from viewing user profiles, but you can't prevent your logged-in registered users unless you set

Forum Configuration
» Integration » Integration Options » Profiles and User List = None

... but then you won't be able to see those things either except from your site backend. But, you cannot edit someone else's profile, either, to make changes to it.
