Question about Forum's Avator manipulation (making two images)

Hello guys,

I am wondering if you have manipulated the Kunena file before?
I would like to manipulate the Kunena's profile picture to get another one.
Also while manipulating, I cannot change the font and the words written inside eg. "index"
So, would love to know what is going on and how to do that? Btw, I am very new to php and script !

I am a little confused here. Are you trying to change the default image for the profile?

For the "Index" you mean on the menu tab? If you are trying to change the name of that, just go to your kunena menu and change the menu item's name to something else. That will change "Index" to anything you like.

For the "Index" menu item, just in case they are not in order, it is the "Entry Page" that you want to change its name from Index to what ever you want to call it.

Yes , just changing the text on the tabs eg. for this forum above, i would like to change "New Topic" to "Old Topic" then how do we change?
I am trying to look at their php file in the Filezilla right now.. And tempting to change something..by trying to find "echo" since it is the print statement in php i guess.

(sorry for confusing you but I am so new to this php and Kunena thing)

Also by changing the image, i mean that, when you click on my profile, you will see one profile picture only...so, I would like to make it double since for my project which is personal trainer's website, we ve to do Before and After picture !
So yeah, any idea?

Also there is something like "Edit" for changing /updating your profile page, but it is so small in text font, so I am not sure how to make it bigger.

To change the title of each tab just go to your Kunena Menu in the back end under Menus. You don't have to mess with any of the php files for this.

For the 2ndary image you are wanting not, you mean a 2ndary profile picture once you click on it?

For the Edit button go to :

components/com_kunena/template/default/css/kunena.forum-min.css

find the following:

#Kunena h2 span.kheadbtn a

and change the font size to something like 13px
