Question Making a Poll

If you have the option to "Enable poll in these categories:" from the Settings in the Category Manager you should be able to create a Poll in which ever forum you enabled the creation of polls by clicking on the Icon with the 3 vertical bars (red, blue, green).

Is that what you are asking for? As long as you have polls enabled you will be able to create polls my Friend. Hope this helps you out.

Thanks for the reply. I have the polls enabled but cannot see the option to make a poll at all. What am I missing?

OK, maybe I have found a bug.

I had Polls enabled in all forums except the forums that Kunena creates when it first installs. The little Poll Icon (the three bars) is not anywhere on the forums at all when I create a new message. When I enabled Polls in the auto-created Kunena forums, the little icon appeared everywhere.

I checked this 3-4 times toggling polls on and off and the Polls are only available in the rest of my forums when they are enabled in the original forums.

Since I am using those initial forums sections for unregistered users I don't need polls there.

My debugging info etc. is posted in the top of this thread.

Ok, so the default forums don't have the Poll Icon?

If that is the case, from the Category Manager page you can click on the RED X under the Polls Column to activate the Polls if you can't from inside the settings, as long as it is not a Category Section. The Category Section is usually the main Parent of your forums, so in other words only child forums or categories have the option to enable forums in them.

Does that make sense?
