Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Hiya,

Question is simple, I want users to be able to post to a category, but not edit the posts. I had a look through the config but couldn't see it. I'm probably just blind, but if you could point me in the direction. Was something we used to use under agora and just realised we have been missing things as edited posts don't appear as (new)

Actually, it's not possible to do that with Kunena, Kunena doesn't show edited like new message

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for but I think it may be possible to prevent people from editing the messages after they've posted by changing either of the following settings

Forum Configuration » Users » User Related » User Edits = No
Forum Configuration » Users » User Related » User Edit Time = 1

Try them out and let us know if these things do what you want. :)
