K 1.7 and reCAPTCHA was created by Proximo
I do not like reCAPTCHA in K 1.7 and I would like to use a different plug-in in its place.
Does anyone know if it is possible?
Thanks in advance

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Hello,
You can't do that, recaptcha is directly integrated into Kunena. What's wrong with recaptcha ?

Just setup recaptcha and the kunena discuss is putting the captcha box at the top of the page instead of near the comment box where it should go. Looks real messy because it covers the site logo. I'm on joomla 1.7 and kunena 1.7.
I have replicated this on 2 websites now. I hope someone can help me work it out because I'd really like to be able to use kunena discuss again with captcha

I don't like it because it's very very hard to read and i would prefer to have a captcha easier to understand.
Also in the reCAPTCHA forum there are a lot of people who say that it's to hard to read, especially for non English users.
It's really a problem for me, at this point, if there isn't a different solution.

The issue with captcha plugins is that there is no well defined interface on how they should work. So to support each of them we need to write code all of them.
