Administrator privileges for Kunena but not for Joomla was created by katamar
Hi!
I would like to know if it's possible to have an user with admin privileges for the forum kunena, but not for the entire site (joomla).
I know that for edit configurations in kunena an user must login in the backend, but I would like that this user don't see all other joomla components in the site, but only the kunena component.
Could you help me to find a way to resolve this?
Thank you

This will be possible in Kunena 1.7 if you are running it in Joomla 1.7.

Thank you for the reply. So i must wait till Kunena 1.7 will be released...
How it will be resolved? Configuring Kunena from the frontend or setting in the backend specifics priviliges for useres, to manage specific components ?

I'm just going to release Kunena 1.7.0 -- our testers reported that the last issues have been fixed. So the release will likely be out within 8 hours.

Great! :woohoo:
It's possible to update Kunena 1.6.4 directly to 1.7 version?
And i must do the same also with Joomla, cause i'm still using 1.5.23...it's time to update!

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.
