Kunena 6.2.6 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.6 [K 6.2.6] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2

Topics that are moved into this category are generally considered to be closed. Users may want to add additional information but these topics should not be resurrected in order to discuss new problems or unrelated matters.

Error when activating search plugin in J1.6 was created by fribse
Without errors showing I just get a blank page when activating the search plugin.
With errors showing I see this:
Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /share/MD0_DATA/Web/gsk2/libraries/joomla/plugin/plugin.php on line 102

My site is still in the building process, and there are a lot of problems with J1.6.

remove (or remark) line #35 from plugins/search/kunenasearch/kunenasearch.php file fix this problem:

//JPlugin::loadLanguage ( 'plg_search_kunenasearch', JPATH_ADMINISTRATOR );

Alternatively, you should create the xx-XX.plg_search_kunenasearch.ini language file in the administrator directory of your language (xx-XX is your language tag).

If I enable the language filter plugin, the search works, if I switch to english, the search works.
The filter should only be enabled if the language switch module is enabled, and that is not enabled, so I can make it work, but...
