Encountering a few issues, not sure if its Kunena related or my config (config included below)..

- Uploading images of more than 1Mb fail
- Failed uploads generate a white screen with default links (no CSS/Template)
- There's no warning for users attempting to upload images larger than the allowed limit

Looking at that.. PHP Max Execute is 30 seconds. Should I contact my host about increasing that ?
Also, this is running on IIS 7.0, PHP 5 & .NET 3.5

Lets hope a server can resize an image in less than 30 seconds

What template are you using?

Board template is the Default Blue one thats bundled in K1.6RC3.
Site template is generated in Artisteer.

I dont think my cheapo GoDaddy shared hosting server is gunna download + resize a 10MP image in less than 30 seconds.. John you're a genius !

UPDATE: I've managed to resolve the issue by creating a custom PHP.ini file to increase the timeout and max upload settings. So this is something for others to check if they have this problem.

However, I can still tell it to upload 3Mb files when the limits 1024Kb (1Mb) ?

That's the whole idea....you upload a file that is too big, kunena resizes it to fit your max settings.

Oh right I get ya.. if it exceeds any one of those three parameters it resizes. I read it to mean dont accept if its bigger than that.

Well, its working but if I try to upload say 2x 4Mb images, I get a 500 Server error. Doesnt do it with 2Mb files or smaller ? *shrugs* whatever, seems to be working OK for now.
