Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Error in Integration - Avatar Selection:

With JomSocial(1.8) allowing "Default", "None", or "JomSocial" to be set as the Avatar source, the following errors are generated. Jommla is version 1.5.20

Well it is only in RC1 stage it not likely to be perfect just yet, if i was you id wait till atleast for RC2 or even stable before making your final decision.

We are planning to use Kunena and migrate a large vB database to 1.6. However, since we are an active site, we were looking over the software to see where it was in development. It looks good, but too many bugs to run open, as you stated. I am wondering if we can move a large database 7Meg onto 1.5. We are looking to get off vB by the end of September when our license runs out. It does not appear 1.6 will be ready at that point. If 1.5 will handle a large database, then we can upgrade as 1.6 matures. Any help we can provide, we are will to do so.

RC2 is due very soon ( i dont know exact date ) but if i was you i would try that before going down the K1.5 route but yes k1.5 will support large databases ( i dont know of an easy converter to convert VB to k1.5 though )
