I'm still confused - and the off-topic commentary about German language hasn't helped. Is this issue resolved and can we archive it?

I'm sorry about the off topic german language but this is Test Reports forum so we can post errors or flaws in 1.6 so the devs can improve Kunena and the upgrade tool, right? I don't know if the issue is resolved because I don't know what the devs have been doing.

How do I explain the error in the upgrade tool so even you understand what I mean :P

- I started out with an existing website (with Kunena 1.5 including forumposts and images).
- Copied it to my test server.
- Upgraded to Kunena 1.6
- In the backend you can manage the images in the "Uploaded Images Browser"
- surprise, in the "Uploaded Images Browser" there are 0 images to manage but the forums show images?
- Taking closer look at backend: images are now in "Uploaded Files Browser" (which is not correct, they are images, not files)
- Uploading new image
- New image is visible in "Uploaded Images Browser"

Conclusion: there is a flaw in the upgrade proces, images are moved to Files Browser instead of Images Browser.

Hope this takes away your confusion :)

Thank you! :woohoo: All you're really saying is that the upgrade process moves images to the wrong folder. The discussion about Uploaded Images Browser and Uploaded Files Browser was just a smokescreen. I don't know why the upgrade process doesn't put images and files into their correct places. :(

I've changed the thread subject to make this simpler to understand.

:woohoo: didn't think about checking where my images were placed, would have been so much easier to explain (and understand)
