Question RSS and Avatar Problems

Hello again,
I have some Problems when trying to get the RSS Feeds working. I activated the feature and I had one feed from beginning. But after I deleted it, and wrote some more Threads, noone is listed in the feeds. You can take a look into that here moonsblade.com/joomla/index.php/forumsdasd in the bottom right corner is the Feed-Button. I wrote around 5-6 threads.

EDIT: It seems the problem appears, because the access is for "Nobody" instead "Everyone" when I choose "Public", but don't know why and where I ca change it.

Another Problem is, that after activating Avatars, I can upload it, see it in the Profil and everywhere else, except in the "Last Post" and on the top of the page next to the Username. I activated the Option "Show avatar on Index view, Recent Topics and My Topics?". Maybe any sollution?

EDIT: I can't see the Avatars in the Backend too, there are jut some red X.

We have seen plenty of issues recently about rss feed....

For avatars, you need to have gd library installed/enabled on your system, talk to your host about it.

Ok thanks, but I have problems installing it. I'm using Ubuntu, and is I type "./configure" it says everytime "Perimssion denied", even if I'm using root and chmod 755. You know a solution?

EDIT: It works now, "configure" wasn't exeutable
