Kunena 6.1.1 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.1.1 [K 6.1.1] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.2.x/4.3.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1.0 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.1

This is for users to help other users, to discuss topics that are related to forum administration in general or problems in running Joomla. This is not the place to ask for Joomla support. If you want assistance with Joomla please ask at forum.joomla.org

Hi I am a First time user of Kunena. Which I recently uploaded on my site. if I set the registered users only field in the security tab of the Forum Configuration to yes it Displays the following message "Please Log In
Only community members can participate in forum threads. You must register or log in to contribute." but when I try to log in from the Login form of Joomla I receive the following error "unable to connect"but if I set the field to no I can log in properly.here are the configuration setting when the fied is set to yes

Hope to find an early answer
even with the registered users only tab set to no I have found that I cannot use the standard login module I need to compulsary use the forums login module on the frontend which is heart breaking.

It has been temporary Solved the problem was that seo rewrite was turned on in Joomla. so the bug exists plus there is also a small problem if a user is put in 2 groups he cannot log out unless he uses the log out feature of Kunena.

Read Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) in the Wiki. There is no "bug" if you know how to configure Joomla properly.

I don't quite understand about two "groups". What are these groups? Are we discussing Joomla, Kunena or something else?
