Question Drop down menu problems in Joomla

Hi all

I have Kunena 1.6 with Joomla 1.5. I have kunena set up in my joomla site. Whilst you are in the forum if you hover over the fisheries or holidays menu where you then get drop down of sections it just doesn't show whilst in Firefox. The menus work fine in IE just not sure why not in Firefox?

Hope someone can help me.

The site is www.carp-on.com and as I said if you click and go in the forum then try to select one of the fisheries or holiday tabs the drop down doesn not display.. Really unsure why.

Thanks

The issue you describe concerns the way your template menu system works and does not necessarily involve Kunena. K 1.6.x utilises the Joomla menu system - which has never been the easiest thing in the world to master :pinch: - but there are quite a few general guidelines you can apply if you read Customised Menus . If that does not work then you might want to discuss your particular needs either with the author of the site template that you purchased or, as another way around the problem, you could engage a professional Joomla specialist to develop a purpose-built solution for your needs.

We've seen the techniques used elsewhere; here's an example: www.getransportation.com/

I hope this helps.

Hi, we also had this problem with a Gavick template, we tried about 20 different things until we disabled the menu drop down animation. Let me know if I can help out with your site.

Sozzled. Thanks for your help. Will have a look and see if your suggestions will work. Fingers crossed.

Hamanaka. More suggestions the better for me please? Did you just completely disable the drop down in the end? Don't think I could do that for my site.

Thanks guys

Rob
