Hello,

I installed Kunena which worked perfectly, then disabled it, because I wanted to use it at a later time.

I changed my hosting provider, installed my site, and a couple of weeks later I decided it is time for Kunena go live. I enabled everything in the menu manager, however, when clicking on the Forum menu on my site, I receive this error and the maing page does not load:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getLink() on a non-object in /home/konzolce/public_html/administrator/components/com_kunena/libraries/user.php on line 374

I downloaded the user php file, and in line 374 I find this:

return $avatars->getLink ( $this, $class, $sizex, $sizey );

The thing is that I don't understand why it is not working, after disabling the forum I did not change, modify anything.

Does anyone have a hint?

Thanks

Hello,

Do you have tried to upgrade to k1.6.3 to see if the problem persists ?

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

I cannot add anything more to what xillibit has written. There is no way that this community can fully support users who deliberately edit or conceal information from the standard K 1.6 configuration report. Sorry.

I can only suggest that you read K 1.6 Technical Requirements in the hope that this may provide you with some answers.
