Kunena 5.2 Beta 1 Released (24 Sep 2020)

The Kunena team is thrilled to announce the first public beta release of Kunena 5.2, a native Joomla extension for Joomla 3.9. This is a development release and should be only be used for testing; this version is not recommended for live websites at this stage.

The purpose of this release is to encourage testing by downloading, installing and identifying any problems or shortcomings that people may discover. K 5.2.0 B1 is stable and we are aware that people will discover defects. We encourage you to use the forum to report defects, as soon as they are discovered, so that the development team can work through the problems before the release of K 5.1 as a stable product. Reporting defects does not mean that the problems can or will be fixed. The Kunena team is looking forward to hearing your feedback on how well we have achieved our design goals.

Question Kunena and Ambra by Dioscouri

10 years 3 months ago #1 by montemedia

I'm trying to integrate Kunena and Ambra (user manager Joomla component by Dioscouri).
Ambra has option to give points to users, when they perform some action. For example, for login, affiliate subscription, uploading avatar, etc.
By default, Ambra has no options to reward user for posting in Kunena forum, but it can be created (according to Ambra manual).

Here is part of manual which explains this:

# Scope - You can choose one from a list of other scopes you have already added or create a new one.
A scope is related to a component. To determine the proper syntax for any component, just view the URL of one of the components pages (in NON-SEF mode) and select the part that starts with 'com_' and ends right before the next "&". [eg. for Ambra it would be "com_ambra" - you DO need to include the 'com_']
# Event - You can choose an existing event or enter a new one. This event must exist and be used/triggered by the component indicated in the SCOPE field.
For events related to other components please contact that components developer.

Scope: com_user
Event: onLoginUser (this is Joomla event)

What I would like to know now is what are the Kunena events, so I can reward my users for various "actions" regarding their activity in Kunena.
