Question Need to Jazz up my landing page

This has nothing to do with Kunena but with Joomla. There is a separate forum for Joomla .

Thanks for correcting me. I sometimes think they are one in the same..sorry....

Are there examples of what other people have done with  Kuena Discuss whereby they add something more than the basic look?   Here is what I have and I have been able to put in some color in the topics, but nothing for a Section.   I added color by putting in the -red or -green etc.  

   

As far as I am concerned, the more bells and whistles you add to your site, the more cluttered and confusing it becomes. This also applies to the text on your site. Lots of different layouts and colours do not make it any better for the visitor. I would leave your forum layout alone. If you really want something cheerful, take a look at an external Kunena template.
BTW: this has nothing to do with Kunena Discuss.

You're right...too many bells and whistles make it worse. Thanks for your patience with me!
I'll think about a different template but I prefer to stay with Cassiopeia. Learning one template structure is hard enough for now.
