Hello,

the following error appears when registrating for the Forum (using German language, Screenshot):

Der eingegebene Name ist ungültig! - Name is not valid
Der eingegebene Benutzername ist nicht verfügbar. Bitte einen anderen Benutzernamen eingeben! - Username is not available. Please type in another one.
Die eingegebenen Passwörter stimmen nicht überein! Bitte das gewünschte Passwort in das dazugehörige Feld eingeben, anschließend das Passwort erneut im dafür vorgesehenen Feld eingeben. - Your passwords does not match!...

I am using Joomla!2.5.20 and Kunena 3.0.5.

Can you help me with this Problem?

Thank you!

Felix

Kunena is not responsible for account registration. Please see User registration and/or general login issues

The message means that there is already an account registered on your website that has the same username as the one that you are trying to use. You need to use a different username. Also, the message about passwords not matching means exactly that.

These messages are not generated by Kunena. You might also find this reference helpful: stackoverflow.com/questions/13215094/wha...r-name-in-joomla-2-5 (the information is also similar for J! 3.x).
