Hi,

I am using Kunena 3.03 and Joomla 3.1.5.

When I click on the module "Latest forum postings", the kunena menu is always missing. No top-navigation in the forum.

Can anybody reproduce that or knows a solution?

Thanks in advance

Welcome to kunena, Artaxerxes!

This error occurs when kunena menu items are used in other menus. Links of other menus, which are linked to the forum, must be menu type "Menu Item Alias".
Please see here: www.kunena.org/docs/en/troubleshooting/menu-issues

If you are creating a configuration report, I can tell you which menu items are wrong.

Try to config the Kunena menu module show all joomla! page.

I can't find any module for Kunena navigation bar on top and I don't want Kunena to appear on all pages :)

must be menu type "Menu Item Alias"

That was the solution. Thanks!

I have same problem, however, in joomla i remove mootols by default.
Hack kunena to load, in initialize.php from template.
Code:
doc =& JFactory::getDocument(); $doc->addScript("/media/system/js/mootools-core.js") ; $doc->addScript("/media/system/js/mootools-more.js") ;

But, no bbcode ---> Loading BBCode editor...
No tabs, no preview...

I think you have a very different problem; you have at least two problems. The first problem is caused by your Joomla menu - see Kunena menu issues for what you can do about that. You deleted the Kunena menu; this explains why you have no "tabs"

The second problem is that you have removed Joomla's Mootools. Please read Javascript and Kunena . No Mootools => no BBcode toolbar; no Mootools => no preview. It's as simple as that. It's up to you to decide if allowing Mootools to load properly is not as important as having a forum that works.

Thank you for your quick reply.
Menus Issue solved.
I don't delete any menu, this is a upgrade from a very old kunena/fireboard installation.

About mootols, i load mootools with forum when forum template is load... test made in kunena.php it's the same, load by joomla.... same, mootools work, in user forum tabs qorking well, without mootools doesn't work.

Right now, i load mootols from kunena.org.... bbcode missing, post preview missing... etc.
