Kunena 6.3.8 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.8 [K 6.3.8] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x/5.2.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3
Note: Please go to the Kunena Dashboard after an upgrade so that the Kunena database tables are also updated.

Getting all kinds of open basedir messages when accessing the backend admin interface only. Front end displays fine. Backend appears to work, but the warnings are annoying.

Joomla 2.5.16
Upgraded Kunena to 3.03. No issues with previous installed version (1.7)
IIS 7.5

Hi everyone!

I have exacly the same problems described in this thread. Today I updated Joomla (2.5.25) and Kunena (3.0.6), but unfortunately the problem remains.

I contacted my provider and he told that there seems to be a path construction problem in \httpdocs\libraries\joomla\html\html.php. He asked me to exchange the "/" in lines 367, 387 and 393 for a "\":

E.g.
wrong:
// If the file is in the template folder if (file_exists(JPATH_THEMES . "/$template/$folder/$file")) { $includes[] = JURI::base(true) . "/templates/$template/$folder/$file";
break;

right:
// If the file is in the template folder if (file_exists(JPATH_THEMES . "\$template\$folder\$file")) { $includes[] = JURI::base(true) . "\templates\$template\$folder\$file";
break;

After applying these changes I can access Kunena in the backend again but unfortunately have other kind of problems, e.g. the icons on Jooma control panel are not displayed anymore.

Could someone tell me what the cause of the problem is and how to solve it?
