Kunena 6.3.0 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3

How to 'get' and 'echo' the joomla user group of a kunena user? was created by Endoframe
I want to display the users highest group title from joomla ACL inside kunena (instead of the ranks system) in each message.

I can't seem to get any code to work to do this.

It should be relatively simple as there is a GetGroup or similar function in joomla/jfactory.

Basically, inside each message i need to get the author of a post and then the group of that post somehow.

What am I missing?
