Kunena 5.2 RC3 Released (29 Nov 2020)

The Kunena team is thrilled to announce the third public release candidate of Kunena 5.2, a native Joomla extension for Joomla 3.9. This is a development release and should be only be used for testing; this version is not recommended for live websites at this stage.

The purpose of this release is to encourage testing by downloading, installing and identifying any problems or shortcomings that people may discover. K 5.2.0 RC3 is stable and we are aware that people will discover defects. We encourage you to use the forum to report defects, as soon as they are discovered, so that the development team can work through the problems before the release of K 5.1 as a stable product. Reporting defects does not mean that the problems can or will be fixed. The Kunena team is looking forward to hearing your feedback on how well we have achieved our design goals.

Question Recommendations for Joomla templates

I am very much aware that Joomla has a free template with it but there is a reason why people develop other templates for better features and positions. I was asking if you could recommend to me an advanced template or paid template with enhanced features that work well with Kunena.

I use the standard, default Joolma templates that come free with the Joomla installation package in my web development activities. These standard templates have many good features. All the standard Joomla templates work well with Kunena. There are also many good templates advertised on this page. As far as I know, if people pay to advertise their template on this website then those templates work with Kunena.

Everyone has their favourite template but it is important to understand that while it is OK to discuss, in general terms, the kinds of Joomla templates that work with Kunena it is not acceptable to advertise within the forum. I understand that you are asking if we can recommend, specifically, an "advanced" template or paid template with "enhanced features" that works well with Kunena and my advice is to look at the advertisements that appear on this website.
