Merged Apostrophe displaying with slash

I have already replied to your second question.

I'm also experiencing this issue - magic quotes are off (I'm on Joomla 3 but I double-checked the system info to be certain).

Was there any resolution to this issue?

Hey All,

First time poster. I've been trying to research this problem without success. I've read issues with the magic quotes being enabled which I ensured are disabled. All other items I read don't seem to work. I attached some screen shots of my exact problem. I read another topic on here showing it to be a problem with the Kunena post.php file which I cannot seem to locate in the backend. This person was having an issue with backslashes in his subject line and the solution seemed to be typing removebackslashes in a piece of code.

Would surely appreciate anyone's help.
