How to inform registered users about the forum's existence
We have installed the Kunena forum on our site fairly recently. Is there a way to inform our registered users about the forum's existence, so that they can make use of it? (We have CB latest version installed on our site.) From the forum settings, I am aware that members can subscribe to topics/categories, but they will be able to do so _after_ they come to know about the forum.
Thank you for the help. We tried sending out a mail to all registered users, but the system sent the mail to the administrator/super-user email address only; none of the registered users received it.
In case Kunena does not have this facility in-built, are there any third-party non-commercial extensions that may prove useful for our purpose?
It is a pleasure to put on record that we managed to be able to inform the site's registered users about the forum's existence.
We used CB's user manager to send out the mass mail. Since CB is already installed on our site, no further third-party component/plugin installation was necessary.
This is for the benefit of Kunena users with a similar requirement.
