Locked out? How are you locked out? Did you forget your administrator account username/password?

Of course I didn't forget my password. It will not let me log into the
front end or the back end and does not even seem to recognise that my
account still does exist on the database.
and this happened as soon as I logged to the forum itself, but after I logged out that was it!
Weeks of work have now down the drain unless you can come up with some ideas.

I made the fatal mistake in assuming this forum
script was a lot more reliable. How wrong was I?

I think that 2 million downloads, and an installation base of over 500,000 websites proves that it's not too difficult to install. Unfortunately, we cannot help you if you cannot provide us with a comprehensive description of your site, or your K 1.7 configuration report.
Your problems are not made by the installation of Kunena. We're sorry for your loss but did you read the installation guide ?
