Hello Everyone,

I searched the forum and didn't see a thread about this yet, if there is, my apologizes for missing it.

I work for a big company that uses Joomla for their intranet site, we migrated to Joomla 2.5 using a MSSQL DB instead of MySQL. I'm wondering if any testing has been done with your extension in this type of configuration?

I will be trying it out next week in our test environment so if I'm the first one to post this question, i will come back and post my finding.

Any thoughts?

Thank You,
Adam

G'day, Adam, and welcome to Kunena.

I'm not aware of any tests of Kunena conducted in a SQL Server environment. There are some slight syntax differences in the SQL statements used in MySQL and SQL Server and, it's possible that some parts of a Kunena may not perform as we would expect unless changes are made.

I don't know all of the technical issues here but, if this is important to your company, it may be better to discuss the specifics directly with the development team. Please PM me and I will provide you with the contact information.
