Can I separate Joomla users from Kunena users? was created by kraken18
I would like to know if I can seperate the joomla users and the kunena users.
The scenario is this :-
Users login to the main website using a general username and password for the members area.
When access to the members area is granted, access to the forum is then shown.
I would then like the members to have to register and login to the forum.
Can anyone show me how to do this please?

G'day, kraken18, and welcome to Kunena.
Please read the FAQs menu item above this forum, particularly How do I register new users to my website and where should they login to use my website?
You cannot "separate" Joomla users from Kunena users because your users cannot use your Kunena forum if they cannot login to your website.
