Question Recent Topics Page Broken

Yesterday everything was working fine. The only thing I did was create a new daughter forum and post a few threads to it. It was still working fine for hours like that. This morning I got an error similar to the below warnings but it was only for one line. I upgraded to 1.7.2 (1.7.1 previous) to see if it would fix it but now I get two lines of warning:

Disregard. My entire site was in error due to joomla memory allocation issues. I had to add some line to the index.php files based on hostgator support recommendations and it fixed it up.
