Question Adding Polls to a forum post

Hi all,

I downloaded Kunena for the first time tonight so I could add the forum to my existing site which I have recently moved over to Joomla. Im using version 1.5 and have the standard existing poll in module which came with 1.5 and I would like to move the poll to a forum post.

Normally I would insert the following code in to an article:

<p style="text-align: justify;">{module [48]}</p>

And the module would appear, however the forum editor doesn’t have the option to swap to html like Joomla tinyMCE does.

I tried putting the code as:
Code:
<p style="text-align: justify;">{module [48]}</p>

Any suggestions please as to how I could either fix this so I can post polls in the forum please?

Many thanks

Dave

I understand what you're trying to accomplish, and this may seem like I'm not answering your question, but you might want to considering moving away from Joomla's polls module. I understand they will be removing this functionality in J1.6

Kunena 1.5 has a way to add polls to forum posts. But it requires a small hack.

See www.kunena.com/forum/114-hacks/15287-hac...kunena-1511-and-1011

Even better news is that Kunena 1.6 will come with polls functionality built in.

Anyway, getting back to your original question, I'm afraid someone with more expertise will need to help you with what you're specifically wanting to accomplish. :(
