Question BBCODE buttons stopped working

The bbcode buttons on a site I am currently working on have stopped working. bbcode can still be manually entered and works fine, the buttons just no longer insert the code.

I have tried using the default template unchanged to see if it was a template issue, but that didn't resolve it.

I think that leaves me with a conflicting plugin. But I have tried systematically disabling plugins to see if that solves the problem but I couldn't seem to get the buttons working again.

Does anyone else have any ideas?

The site can be found here: bit.ly/a9lZpG
And a test user account is U: test P:test

Installed version: Kunena 1.5.6

Please note, the site is live.

Hello,

When i look the source code of your page, i see that plugins from jceutilities and jcomment load javascript so try to disable these plugins.

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

After your suggestion, I went in and did a more thorough search, and to my surprise it was a plugin called rereplacer, which is used to censor words.

Is there anyway this can be selectively disabled in kunena pages? Just stop the js script loading?

Thanks for your help

You have two possibilities remove the jquery load from rereplacer or from kunena.

Thanks.
I'll have to think about which one makes sense. Probably Kunena since it only calls jquery on its own pages, where as rereplace calls it on all.

Think that makes sense, at least in my head anyway

Replied by sozzled on topic Rereplacer and Kunena
K 1.5.6 is not a supported version.

This ties in with another discussion: Badword2 - myth or it really works? . Rereplacer is not endorsed nor supported by us.
