Forum auto width or 100% browser width? was created by halo3montage
I was wondering if anyone would know how to make the Kunena forum width have the ability to expand to the width of the user's browser? This is assuming of course that I have no left or right modules enabled on the Kunena menu item. This would be similar to the many other forums out there.
Can this be done?

Yes, it's possible. It all depends on your Joomla template.

Yeah, I was wondering if you could somehow bypass the Joomla template width for just the Kunena menu.

Be my guest ...
No, seriously, that's not how Joomla works. As I said, it depends on the Joomla template you use for your forum page. You can use a different template for each menu item, if you want. Kunena doesn't know what Joomla template it will be used with. Your Joomla template says (in effect) "I'm the boss around here and I decide how much screen real estate I'm allowing for components." What you need is a Joomla template that says "You can use 100% of the screen width" If that means there isn't any room for left or right modules, you're not worried are you? There are templates around that will do that.
