Question edit the "new post/ reply" section to include the joomgallery plugin

Hi;

can somebody please advise which files I need to change, if it's possible) so that the joomgallery plugin can be used?

Currently the only way users can add an image from their gallery on the site is to use bbcode/ image url (right click is disabled site wide), OR they have to upload directly to the forum.

I'm looking at trying to integrate the plugin (as used for inserting an image into content/ articles, etc.) so that we don't have multiple copies of the same image on the server; it will also make selecting an image from their gallery a LOT easier.

We are facing the same kind of a problem on our site. Our users would like to link images from joomgallery to kunena powered forum posts, but it requires some kind of a plugin? I tried to search an answer for this situation but found no clue what so ever...

The image links worked with the old configuration that we had: joomgallery and fireboard.

Please help us, because this is a very important function for our users.

I don't know joomgallery but if there is an API, you can easily do the changes.

If you know the changes made on fireboard, this can be apllied in kunena with little adaptations.

Ok, now were talking about things that i don´t fully understand because i don´t know how to write php-code that much.

I´m trying to get the picture show in the post with the following link that the joomgallery generates: http://sitename.com/index.php?option=com_joomgallery&func=watermark&catid=5&id=171&Itemid=76
This worked with fireboard but i have no clue on what and where i have to modify in the kunena´s code. :blush:

I got it solved by removing lines 340-348 from kunena.parser.php file... I know this is not a good solution because it makes the site more vulnerable but until someone makes a better solution i´m using this. Sorry for my stupid questions and thanks for the help!
