Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Hi guys,

Is there any facility within Kunena, whereby an Admin post is automatically added to a thread created by a user?.

I am in the process of setting up a small webhosting/design website and provide technical support through a ticketting system, backed up by Kunena Forum for registered members to exchange views as in this forum.

However I would like to be able to have an automated post added each time a new thread is created, which would basically be a notice from Admins/Moderators warning the creator of the thread that no technical support is given through the forums, only through the submission of a support ticket, with a link to create on. Even just the automatic insertion of a 'To receive specific customer support please click here' would suffice.

I have seen this used on a number of different support websites in forums very similar to Kunena's. I know there are third party software solutions available, some of which border on 'spamming' software which I am totally against. I was just wondering if Kunena could be adapted to incorporate such a process.

Any suggestions?.
